Conditions of Hire
Booking Confirmation and Bond
Bookings for rooms
will not be deemed confirmed until a bond of $200 is received. This is
to be received at least 21 days in advance.
Cancellations
Cancellation made two weeks in
advance will be refunded minus a $20 booking fee. Refunds due to
cancellations made later than this will be subject to additional fees
up to the total of the bond.
Conditions of Use
- The Hirer is responsible for any damage to the House, its furniture, furnishings or equipment during the hire period.
- All rooms are to be left in a clean condition. It is the responsibility of hirers to remove all rubbish, bottles etc. All refuse can be placed in garbage bags and placed in rubbish bins outside the House.
- Confetti or Rice is not be used in the House or on the verandahs.
- Decorations requiring nails or screws or sticking tapes cannot be used in the House.
- Furniture such as tables and chairs cannot be moved outside the House.
- Music and Noise - patrons are reminded the many residents also share Kingston Park and disruptive noise or music is not permitted.
- Closure - individual event hire conditions include a start and finishing time. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure premises are vacated by this time.
- Kingston House and its verandah areas are non smoking area.
In the event these conditions are breached the bond or portion thereof will be used to cover costs associated with the breach.
